Apple Removes Bad Reviews From App Crashes

Apple has fixed the DRM issue that caused widespread app issues for many developers, but rather than leave in place any negative reviews from the apps being non-functional, Apple has done a solid to the development community. As reported by MacWorld and MacStories, Apple has killed all the reviews for the update that had the problem.

While this does mean losing the good reviews with the bad, given how the updates were non-functional for most people, this is the most fair move possible by Apple, as it prevents devs from being penalized for Apple’s mistakes. So anyone who bitched about the most recent version of app X being unusable — but the problem was due to the error — will now have that review removed from the system.
