Nothing like a beta release to stir things up on a cold winter’s night. Apple tonight has released iOS 6.1 beta 5, available now for download through the developer’s portal. If you have a previous version of iOS 6.1 installed on your iPhone or iPad, then you can expect to see an OTA update available to you.
This latest beta comes as the previous beta was set to expire. It also seems as if Apple is in no particular hurry to get 6.1 out the door. You can discuss the latest release in this forum thread.
