Apple Releases iOS 6.1.1 Beta To Developers

Apple today released iOS 6.1.1 beta to developers. The timing is curious with the evasi0n jailbreak seeing widespread acceptance since it’s release on Monday. When you couple this with an update to a support article warning users against jailbreaking, one has to wonder if this update will do little more than break than plug the exploit that allowed for iOS 6.x to be jailbroken.

  1. Apple should just embrace the jailbreak community. I love my iPhone with or without a jailbreak but the jailbreak community add a lot of features that are missing. I buy my apps so I don’t care about illegal downloads but Apple need to stop and I won’t be updating anytime soon until 7.0.
