PatentlyApple’s most recent utterly mad discovery is a patent by Apple to transform the iPod Nano into a constantly changing piece of fashion. The patent is for a series of active screensavers on the Nano, which would be animated and change, based on a number of sensors. By taking account of motion, temperature, location, speed, and potentially information from the rumored camera. The animated screensaver could adapt to what it’s attached to, and the environment around it to make a pleasing pattern. That’s pretty cool!
The other interesting point this hints at is that there might be games headed to the Nano — though I can’t imagine many titles would work well with that small of a screen.

The title says “iPod Touch” >:
Gah, my bad! Fixed!
Apple should be thanking those watch band companies that saw it as a watch in the first place.
