As you’ve undoubtedly heard, the Apple Store was sold out of iPhone 5 pre-orders in record time. This shifted pre-orders from a September 21st availability to 2 weeks. They haven’t announced numbers, which will come in due time, but have released the following statement to All Things D.
“Pre-orders for iPhone 5 have been incredible,” said Apple spokeswoman Nat Kerris. ”We’ve been completely blown away by the customer response.”
Imagine if people actually liked the iPhone 5.
