Apple has overhauled the way you choose which iPad 2 you want on their webstore, introducing a new and elegant way of deciding the particulars of your device. For each step of the process you’re now offered a series of buttons, and can select whichever options you want. First color, then model (size and connectivity) and finally, if appropriate, which carrier you want to join.
Once you’re happy with the iPad 2 you’ve selected, it’s simply a matter of hitting the big green “continue” button on the right of the screen.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this change made its way through to other areas of the Apple Store before long, especially in items like computers which have far more variability and choices than the iPad.
