Apple ID Security Gets Boost With Two-Step Verification

Apple today introduced a two-step verification, an optional security feature to safeguard your Apple ID. Those who take part receive a special code to a trusted iOS device. That recovery key code in turn is used in combination with your Apple ID password to make iTunes purchases and get Apple ID related help from Apple. By using this added level of security, it helps protect your Apple ID which can also be used for iCloud, wiping, locking and locating your devices.
