Apple Forced To Reword Samsung Apology

Remember the wonderfully passive-aggressive fauxpology that Apple UK posted about a week ago? It turns out the UK Court of Appeal didn’t think it was very funny, and is demanding Apple update it to something a bit more genuine and contrite.

According to Bloomberg, the UK Courts were especially not happy with the “inserted four paragraphs including excerpts of the original “cool” ruling and details of similar German lawsuits that the court today said weren’t true.”

It sounds like they were especially unhappy with the inclusion of references to other courts which made the ruling that Samsung was copying from Apple.

You can’t help but picture this as a stern parent scolding a child, and telling them to “say ‘sorry’ like you mean it!”
