Apple has confirmed that the white iPhone 4 will be launching this Spring, which seems to suggest the rumor of a late April release is more or less right.
Apple said Thursday the white iPhone was would be released in the spring, reiterating a projection the company made in October. The company had previously indicated that manufacturing problems had delayed its release.
Unfortunately, I still remember getting burned by AT&T’s promises of launching features by a certain season. Until we get a more absolute date, “Spring” is a nebulous time period, and doesn’t technically end until May — and could probably drag on even longer.

If nothing else, I like this because it means they wont be releasing it as part of the June event. I was really hoping they would not bundle in the white iPhone as a “point of excitement” in the presentation.
It wouldn’t even be all that exciting, as people in the audience would more or less be “About time”
No iPhone 5 this summer.
