Today’s iOS 6 beta 4 release took some off guard when they noticed the removal of the YouTube app, a core application since the origin of the iPhone and iOS. This is the latest salvo by Apple to remove Google from the core iOS apps, the first being Apple opting for their own in-house Maps application which will replace Google Maps. Apple reached out to The Verge and offered this official statement.
Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.
There you have it. Now if we could only figure out a way to have the licensing on the Stocks app expire.

“Now if we could only figure out a way to have the licensing on the Stocks app expire.” Agreed, as well as the Newsstand app. Haha.
Or maybe introduce a new bug that allows us to hide Stocks within Newsstand within a folder.
After reading about this, and previously about losing google maps, it makes me consider not upgrading to ios 6. Am I alone on this one?
I use google maps all day, every day, and for me it would completely change my iPhone experience.
