Apple has officially announced an event to take place on October 4th to announce the iPhone 5. The invite says, “Let’s talk iPhone”. It will take place at 10:00 PST at Apple’s campus in Cupertino.

Now we need the pricing. I’m not eligible til 08/12 so I’m buying at face value…blah
I called AT&T and they told me I’m not eligible until Novembwr 25 of this year. I’m pissed because I bought the iPhone 4 the first day it was released. They told me you can only get the full discounted price if you are in the last 6 months of your contract. This is nonsense I’m writing a letter to corporate because there’s going to be a lot of pissed off iPhone customers that can’t upgrade becasue of 1 month. I’m going to buy the unlocked version, hopefully it’s available at launch.
Thats what im doing, buying 2 unlocked phones so I dont have to worry about any contracts
I hope they come out with the unlocked version at launch, I’m going to do the same thing.
The best time ever to pay the ETF and jump ship from the carrier Nazi better known as ATT. I am so glad Sprint has decided to keep the unlimited data plan available….Good buy to the Death Star……
Read the fine print. It’s unlimited data in sprints network only. Not good unless you never leave a small area.
Where does it say “5″ in that invite? Could be a 4S or a 5.
