AppleInsider is reporting that Apple has appointed a Senior VP of Operations in order to make sure the quality of Apple’s products are up to snuff. Jeff William’s role will be to ensure that everything meets “the highest standards of quality.” This is doubtless in reaction to the problems present in the iPhone 4 — the antennae issues, proximity sensor, bluetooth, the whole nine yards. But the iPhone 4 isn’t the only of Apple’s recent devices that has had notable issues, there were a spate of recent iMacs that suffered from screen yellowing.
AppleInsider is reporting that over the next three years, Williams will earn some $24.7 million in stock options.
