After much hype and discussion, the collaboration between the dual marketing behemoths that are Angry Birds and Star Wars has finally come to fruition. That’s right: Angry Birds Star Wars is out, and available for iPhone and iPad.
As you might have gathered, the new title transposes the cast of the original Star Wars trilogy onto the iconic birds of the Angry Birds cast — but now they all have extra powers. Now you can use blasters, light sabers, and the force to fight against the Imperial Piggies. The game has also adopted some of the gravity mechanics of Angry Birds Space, and will feature more than 80 levels including bonus challenges string RD-D2 and C-3PO.
Early reviews seem to dub it a worthy addition to the franchise with new features and strategy. So, who’s going to download it for the commute home today?
