Earlier this year, Amazon launched an Instant Video app for the iPad, and the company has now shrunk that down into the palm of your hand — the iPhone version has just launched. The updated edition of Amazon Instant Video is now universal, and allows you to watch the streaming content on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Just in time to distract you from the insanity of visiting your family over the holiday season.
Unfortunately, there isn’t full AirPlay support yet, so you won’t be able to stream the content to your Apple TV. Also, Amazon Instant Video is still also Wi-Fi only, so you won’t be able to watch your content on the go — though your data bill might thank you for that.
