Amazon Cloud Player has had a storied relationship with iOS. First, it worked through Safari, then came the iPad version, and now finally we’re seeing a version of the app specifically for the iPhone and iPod. Available for download from the app store, it taps into your Amazon Cloud account — and the 5GB of free storage therein — and streams it over your device. Handily, the app can also upload audio files directly from your iPhone to Amazon Cloud.
As always with Cloud apps, they require an internet connection to function, and will devour your data plan in a very short amount of time — so be careful with how you use it.
